Approving jobs

Jobs that are submitted for approval need to be approved before they can be published.

Approval processes are setup as part of the create job process.

Approvers receive an email notifying them that they need to approve a job. There is a link within the email that takes approvers to the job.

Alternatively, approvers can log into ai.r, go to Jobs and find the job they need to review.

To review the job, click the pen in the bottom right hand corner of the job tile. This opens the job form.

Approvers review each step of job form, clicking next to move through each page.

On Step 6, Finish and post, approvers have the choice to “Approve” or “Deny”.

Clicking “Deny” opens an input box where you can add feedback which is shared with the hiring team. Click “Deny” to complete or “cancel” to exit.

Click “approve” to approve the job.

Multiple approvers within a hierarchy

If there is more than one approver and the approval process was set to “In order” the next approver will receive an email asking them to approve the role.

If “Deny” is clicked, then a second email won’t be sent.

Tracking approval progress

Users can track how the approval process is progressing based on the symbols next to the job title on the job card. There is a symbol for every approver.

A clock means approval is pending:

Green thumbs-up means approval is granted:

Red thumbs-down means approval is denied:

You can hover over the symbol to check the approvers name.
